Digicel Business Powers Butterfield Bermuda Championship for Eighth Year

Hamilton, Bermuda: Digicel Business will return as Official Telecommunications Sponsor of the Butterfield Bermuda Championship for the eighth consecutive year, continuing a partnership that supports both the delivery of Bermuda’s Professional Golfers’ Association (PGA) TOUR event and community initiatives across the island.
Mark Corrigan, CEO of Digicel Bermuda, said: “We’re incredibly proud to return for our eighth year, supporting an event that means so much to Bermuda. The Butterfield Bermuda Championship showcases our island on the international stage and demonstrates Bermuda’s ability to deliver truly world class events. From enterprise-grade fibre to 5G+, Digicel Business is proud to provide the connectivity that helps deliver a seamless experience for players, spectators, media and organisers.”
Community impact remains an important part of the partnership. Last year, Digicel Business raised over $14,000 in partnership with DailyMail, Mobile Health, helping to support access to vital health screenings for underserved men across Bermuda. This year, Digicel Business will build on that effort through its partnership with HOME, a Bermuda charity dedicated to ending homelessness and helping individuals move toward safe, stable housing.
“For us, this partnership is about helping Bermuda deliver an international event at the highest level. After eight years, we’re equally proud that our involvement goes beyond the course, giving us an opportunity to support organizations doing important work in communities across Bermuda,” Corrigan added.
As the event’s technology partner, Digicel Business will provide the connectivity and communications that help keep the Championship running seamlessly. Its enterprise grade fibre services and 5G+ network will support media, hospitality and spectator areas across Port Royal, alongside Push to Talk communications, ICT support and connectivity for teams operating across the course.
Tournament Director Danielle Carrera said: “Digicel Business is one of our most trusted and enduring partners, and their connectivity and support play an important role in the success of the Championship. Together, we look forward to delivering another exceptional event that Bermuda can be proud of.”
The Butterfield Bermuda Championship returns to Port Royal Golf Course from October 22–25, 2026. For more information and updates, follow Digicel Bermuda on Facebook and Instagram.
