What is Digicel’s Text Donation Line?
The donation line allows Digicel customers across the Caribbean to contribute to Hurricane Melissa relief efforts in Jamaica by sending a SMS (text message) to the designed number for their country. All contributions go directly to the Digicel Jamaica Foundation to provide food, water, and other essential supplies to communities impacted by the storm.How can I donate?
Digicel customers can donate by texting the assigned number for their market. Once the text message is sent, the donation amount will be automatically deducted from your Prepaid balance or charged to your Postpaid bill, and you will receive a confirmation message.What payment methods do you accept?
We’ve made it easy, once you text the number for your market, your contribution will be deducted from your prepaid credit or added to your postpaid bill.How much can I donate?
You’ll be able to choose from two donation amounts, depending on the number you text. Digicel customers outside of Jamaica can select to offer donations of $1 or $5 in their local currency, while customers in Jamaica will be able to donate JMD $20, JMD $50, or JMD $125. To contribute EVEN MORE, you can text the number as often as you would like.Is there a cost to text the donation line?
No, there’s no additional cost. The only amount deducted from your account is your chosen donation, which goes directly to the Digicel Jamaica Foundation. The donation amount depends on the number you call or text.Can I donate more than once?
Yes. Customers can text the donation lines as OFTEN as they wish to donate additional amounts.How will I know that my donation was received?

The donation amount is deducted directly from your prepaid credit or added to your postpaid bill. If you’re unable to donate, it may be because you don’t have enough credit on your prepaid account or you’ve exceeded your postpaid credit limit.Where will the funds go?
