Laurent Therivel

Laurent “LT” Therivel is an accomplished telecommunications executive with a record of driving strategic growth, operational discipline, and shareholder value.

As President and CEO of US Cellular, he led the fourth-largest wireless provider and fifth-largest tower company in the U.S., overseeing a $4bn business. His tenure delivered a major strategic realignment, multi-billion-dollar transactions, and a threefold increase in enterprise value.

Previously CEO of AT&T Mexico, Laurent expanded network infrastructure, strengthened regulatory engagement, and grew profitability at the country’s second-largest wireless provider. Earlier roles at AT&T included CFO of its $40bn B2B unit and leadership positions across strategy, commercial operations, and general management. He began his career as a Communications Officer in the United States Marine Corps, earning the Naval Commendation Medal before leaving with the rank of Captain.

He holds a degree in Marketing from Texas A&M University and an MBA from Harvard Business School, and lives in the Carolinas with his wife and twin daughters.
