Rajeev Suri

Rajeev Suri, Chairman, was the Chief Executive Officer of Inmarsat from 2021 to 2023, during which Inmarsat experienced its best financial performance in over a decade and a strategic exit through the acquisition by Viasat, benefiting the company’s private equity and pension fund shareholders.

Mr. Suri was also the Chief Executive Officer of Nokia from 2014 to 2020 and Nokia Siemens Networks from 2009 to 2014. During his tenure, Nokia underwent significant growth in revenue, profits and cash flow, which included key acquisitions including the networks businesses of Siemens, Motorola, Panasonic and Alcatel-Lucent, and Bell Labs, as well as major expansions into enterprise, software and IP licensing.

He has also served as Chair of the Global Satellite Operators Association and Commissioner of the United Nations Broadband Commission. He currently serves as Chairman of M-KOPA and Board Director for Stryker Corporation and Singtel. He holds a BE in Electronics and Communications and an honorary doctorate from Manipal University. Mr. Suri became the Chairman of Digicel in February 2024. Mr Suri is based in Dubai, UAE.
